本日より、青森県・さくら野百貨店青森本店にて作品展が始まりました。
昨年に続き二回目の開催になります。今回は画廊ではなく、多くの方に見ていただきたいとの思いから、特設会場で展示をしています。
【中川原哲治・惠子と里彩 染め・織り・紡ぎの布展】
～風を纏い光をたたえる、繭からの布～
会期：2026年6月23日（火）～28日（日）
会場：さくら野百貨店青森本店 3階 下りエスカレーター前 特設会場
※最終日は午後4時閉場
樹々の葉に育まれた繭から、真綿、糸、そして布へ。
八王子の地で1894年の創業以来、130年にわたり受け継いできた染織の技法をもとに、山梨の工房で育てた家蚕や天蚕の繭から、糸を紡ぎ、染め、織り上げた作品をご紹介しております。
風が通い、光をたたえる布。
自然の時間とともに生まれた一枚一枚を、ぜひ会場にてご覧ください。
また会期中には、
「繭から糸へ、布をまとう時間」
真綿の糸紡ぎ体験も開催いたします。
普段なかなか触れる機会のない真綿に触れながら、繭から糸が生まれる工程を体験していただけます。
作品を見るだけではなく、素材から布へとつながる時間もあわせてお楽しみいただけましたら幸いです。

Textile Exhibition in Aomori Has Begun
Our textile exhibition has opened today at Sakurano Department Store in Aomori, Japan.
This is the second time we have held this exhibition, following last year’s event.
This year, rather than exhibiting in the gallery space, we have chosen a special venue so that more people can encounter and enjoy our work.

Dates: June 23–28, 2026
Venue: Sakurano Department Store Aomori, 3F (near the down escalator) special exhibition space
The exhibition closes at 4:00 pm on the final day.
From cocoons to mawata silk floss, from thread to cloth.
For more than 130 years, our family has continued the traditions of spinning, dyeing and weaving in Hachioji. The textiles presented in this exhibition are created from silk raised in our workshop in Yamanashi, including both domesticated silkworm silk and tensan wild silk.
Each piece reflects the time, care and natural processes that begin long before weaving.
During the exhibition, we will also offer a small hands-on experience:
“From Cocoon to Thread” – Mawata Silk Spinning Experience
Visitors will have the opportunity to touch mawata silk floss and discover how delicate silk threads are drawn and spun from the cocoon.
We hope this experience offers not only a chance to view the finished textiles, but also a glimpse into the materials, stories and processes behind them.
